This version adds a new feature to save the database that contains the list of devices being monitored at a user specified frequency. The default is once every 5 minutes. This decreases the likleyhood that recent changes to the list of devices being monitored are lost. March 6, 2011 Taro Software Corporation announced today the immediate availability of IsItUp Version 7.11. IsItUp version 7.11 adds a new feature to the Tcp/Ip monitor to test the results returned from the connection. In addition, IsItUp provides preconfigured data to test the returned results for select protocols. For example, the preconfigured data for testing a Pop3 server is "+OK" which is a substring of the normal results returned when connecting to a Pop3 server. Preconfigured data is also provided for FTP,SMTP,NNTP, and IMAP4 protocols.
